Youth and Parent Summit
On October 24, 2015 Brown County Underage Substance Brown County Underage Substance Abuse Coalition (USAC) is putting on a Youth & Parent Summit at New Ulm Senior High. Free admission to Summit, including lunch! The summit will include presentations by various organizations for Brown County youth, parents and community members. The summit will also include booths for organizations to display their information, snacks, lunch and a summit gift. The Summit will be an engaging and empowering day for all. The Summit is for anyone free of charge (7th grade and older). Snacks, lunch and a summit gift are all included. Presenters from Brown County and Minnesota will be speaking on Suicide, healthy relationships for teens, Sexting and its consequences, drugs and alcohol abuse warning signs and drug identification and paraphernalia. Keynote will be by Judge John Rodenberg regarding Social Media and Consequences. It is also an opportunity to bring awareness and prevention strategies to youth alcohol and drug abuse.
