WWI Remembrance Day at Turner Hall
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the World War I Draft Rally held at Turner Hall on July 25, 1917, Turner Hall will host a WWI Remembrance Day event.
Free admission. Picnicking encouraged. Great Turner Hall Food available for purchase.

Appearing at the event will be Dan Chouinard, who will be performing and leading the community sing at 6:30 p.m. Dan is a pianist and accordionist who has appeared on Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion and created special live programs for Minnesota Public Radio, the MN Historical Society and the Rose Ensemble.
Guest Speaker, Dr. Michael Neiberg, was featured in The Great War, a three-part documentary on The American Experience program on the PBS Channel. Dr. Nieberg is a leading historian and author on the First World War, and a professor of history at the U.S. Army War College.
