New Ulm Public Library will be host to several upcoming River Ranger programs. The River Ranger Program is an effort to encourage outdoor activity and appreciation for our role in enjoying and helping the environment. Though the focus is on youth involvement, adults are encouraged to participate. On Tuesday, March 24 at 6 p.m., local wildlife photographer and historian Ron Bolduan and DNR Naturalist Scott Kudelka will present "River Valley Critters & Minneopa Bison." Bolduan will share wildlife photos and hands-on artifacts and include segments of the popular "Camo Critter Hunt" and track identification photos. Kudelka will discuss the re-introduction of bison into Minneopa State Park in fall 2015. On Tuesday, March 31 at 6 p.m., Kudelka will return to present "Aquatic Mammals," a visual presentation that will focus on Minnesota critters. All programs, which are made possible in part by the New Ulm Area Sport Fishermen, are free.
