The Brown County Republican Party will be conducting its 2018 precinct caucuses on Tuesday, February 6th, 2018, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Registration is open at 6:15 p.m. Individuals may participate in the caucus if they will be eligible to vote in their precinct in the next election, are in agreement with the principles of the Republican Party, and voted for or affiliated with the Party at the last general election or intend to vote Republican in the next general election. The purpose of the caucus is to elect precinct chairs and other officers, elect delegates and alternates to the county convention, conduct a gubernatorial preference poll, and discuss candidates as well as issues and resolutions to the Party Platform. In addition to the City of New Ulm, the Townships of Cottonwood, Lake Hanska, Linden, Milford and Sigel, and the City of Hanska will also caucus at this location. Note that overflow parking can be found behind the facility and on the gravel road east of the New Ulm Event Center – not on the grass please.
