"Leonardo" Book Discussion - CASTLE Lifelong Learning Event
CASTLE Lifelong Learning Event - Leonardo By Walter Issacson, a book discussion at the New Ulm Library with Kris Wiley & Dave Martinka, 1:30 pm, Monday, April 9. In this exceptionally popular biography, Isaacson takes on a complex, giant figure and transforms him into someone people can recognize. The author believes the term “genius” is too easily used, but Leonardo DaVinci (1452-1519), from the tiny village of Vinci, near Florence, was “one of the few people in history who indisputably earned that description. He was self-taught and “willed his way to his genius.” Continuing Ric Jacobsen's tradition, this is open to the public. Pick up the book at the NU Library and join in the discussion even if you haven’t finished the book.
