INHERITANCE 101 (previously titled How to Be an Executor)
This workshop explores the Executor role (aka Personal Representative in Minnesota) by someone who has been an Executor three times in three different states. It also will teach you about myths and misconceptions of inheritances that may cost you money. Every year $8 billion of inheritance goes unclaimed. Every. Single. Year. Here is what you will learn:
- l A step by step process for recovering an inheritance
- l WHY it's SO important to be thorough as an Executor…and what might happen if you're not
- l How to prepare for an incoming inheritance (plus, figuring out how much you may actually have)
- l How to avoid paperwork overwhelm (yes, sometimes people WALK away from an inheritance because the paperwork #FACTS)
All attendees/couples get access to a $27 video class by attorney Michael Zwick, a nationally renown Inheritance Investigator, who has reunited heirs with over $140+ million of assets. Michael will reinforce the basics we cover and go in depth with how he recovers inheritances for his clients. This is included as part of attending this class.
