The 1870's Harkin Store was a busy place with different kinds of transportation coming to the store for supplies. The program will be information and a picture display of the different types of transportation.
Leather worker, Dan Cochran, will have a display of his wares and talk about his work. You can make a purchase or do ordering for special items. Rope maker, Thane French, will be making rope with you , and you will be able to take it along. The program will be from 1 to 4 pm on Sunday. Come and see the store and hear about the riverboat village of West Newton and the 1870's store.
The admission to the program is included with admission to the store. We are open MEA week on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 5 pm. Closing for the season will be on our last program on October 18th from 1 to 4 pm with Lonesome Ron's Round-up.
