Harkin Store
Preparing for Winter!
Preparing for the long hard winter took the pioneers a long time. Canning, drying,candle-making, cutting wood and getting foods stocked for themselves and their animals, are just a few of the things that they did. There will be a display of the equipment that the settlers used. There will also be pictures of life on the farm and their chores. The Harkin Store carried many of the supplies and tools that they used.
