This course will give a brief introduction about trees and how to identify ash trees. From here the class will talk about EAB and how it damages ash trees it infests. I will also briefly discuss a few other insects that look like EAB. I will address why it can be hard to identify EAB in its early stages. Finally the course will end talking a bit about what can be done and what is being done to help reduce the spread of EAB. Those attending this course will be provided handouts with some information on tree identification and EAB to take home.
