Event Description:
The book for this month is, Snow-Storm in August: Washington City, Francis Scott Key, and the Forgotten Race Riot of 1863 by Jefferson Morley. The book for March is, The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and the Madness at the Fair That Changed America by Erik Larson. It is easy to participate. No phone call or signup is needed. Just go to the checkout desk at the New Ulm Public Library and ask for a copy of the current BCHS Book Group book. Read the book. Come to the meeting at 7 pm on the first Wednesday of the month in the Annex at the Brown County Historical Society. Parking is behind the museum building near the entrance to the Annex. Join the group and meet some history enthusiasts!
