Book Group to Welcome Author P.S. Duffy
New Ulm Public Library's Adult Book Discussion Group will welcome author P.S. Duffy on Monday, October 6 at 6:30 p.m. All are invited to a discussion of Duffy's historical novel "The Cartographer of No Man's Land," which focuses on a family dealing with the effects of World War I at home in Nova Scotia and at the front in France. Stop by the Service Center or call 507-359-8331 to place a hold on a copy of the book. Duffy, who lives in Rochester, balances writing in the neurosciences for Mayo Clinic with creative writing and is the author of a graduate textbook, flash fiction, essays, and creative non-fiction. This event is made possible by a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative and was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Call 507-359-8332 for more information.
