Annual Shakespeare Series: All's Well that Ends Well

Set in France and Italy, All’s Well that Ends Well is the story of a one-sided romance, based on a tale from Boccaccio’s The Decameron. Helen is the orphaned daughter of a doctor who falls in love with Bertram, the son of a countess. Helen follows Bertram to court where she cures the king of
an apparently fatal illness. Bertram is ordered by the king to marry Helen, but he refuses. Helen sets out to win the love of Bertram, using wit and a few tricks to succeed.
All's Well that Ends Well is being performed live on the State Street Theater stage Friday, June 10 and Saturday, June 11 at 7 pm, and Sunday, June 12 at 2 pm.
This production is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
