DESCRIPTION:The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to host Welcome to the Party: Turning Newcomers into Neighbors on Thursday\, September 28th from 5:00-7:00 pm at the New Ulm Country Club. Thanks to sponsorships\, tickets are FREE for adults and kids\, and include food and family-friendly activities. This event is targeted towards those New Ulm area residents who have moved to the community recently (within the last 5 years)\, and those who want to welcome newcomers to town. The goal of the night is to help them network and learn more about their community.\n\n\n\nThere will be opportunities to learn more about the city of New Ulm and a few tips for living and working in the New Ulm area. Attendees will have the opportunity to make connections with both New Ulm newcomers and natives. This event is hosted by the Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce and is sponsored by various local businesses. These groups want to come together to make sure that people of all ages who are new to New Ulm don't feel like "Auslanders" (German word for foreigners).
