DESCRIPTION:Did you know that many manufacturing programs in Minnesota colleges have nearly 100% job placement right now? That's because modern American manufacturing jobs are so high-tech and innovative that companies are having trouble finding enough qualified employees. Mark your calendars to learn more about what advanced manufacturing is all about through public tours of four New Ulm manufacturers on Oct 3  during Minnesota Manufacturers Week. Tours will be offered at Booth Welding & Fabricating\, New Ulm Precision Tool\, Parker Hannifin\, and Specsys.\n\n\n\nTours will be offered at Booth Welding & Fabricating (520 18th St N)\, New Ulm Precision Tool (2217 S Broadway St)\, Parker Hannifin (2101 N Broadway)\, and Specsys (2120 N Broadway)  on Thursday\, October 3rd.  \n\n\n\nThese tours coincide with Minnesota Manufacturer's Week\, and are in conjunction with the 2019 Statewide Tour of Manufacturing. New Ulm tours\, which are a part of the Tours of Manufacturing of South Central Minnesota\, are coordinated by the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce.\n\n\n\nThe public and the community are encouraged to attend these tours.
