DESCRIPTION:We've added a new parade to kick off the second weekend festivities: The Oktoberfest Promenade Parade is sponsored by Bank Midwest and is a "Wunderbare Parade Deutscher Dinge" (Wonderful Parade of German Things).  The parade begins at 10:30am on Saturday\, October 14th and is a chance for everyone to show off their German garments and costumes related to Germany.  Dress up and join the parade!  The end of the parade route flows right into the Downtown Oktoberfest celebration\, with music (German music first\, followed by a more contemporary band)\, German (and American) food\, local beer (Schell's) and wine (Morgan Creek Vineyards)\, and much more!  Games\, horse-drawn trolley rides\, a stein-holding contest and more.  Break out your dirndls and lederhosen and come join us!
