This is a Strides\, Lions for Diabetes Awareness Event and is a collaboration of the Lions Club of New Ulm and the Lafayette Area Lions Club. This is an approximately a half-mile walk on Flandrau park's beautiful trails. Free admission to the park is included. Children\, pets and strollers are welcome to this family friendly event. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. The Walk takes place at 9:00-10:30 a.m. This is a Fund Raiser for the Minnesota Lions Diabetes Foundation\, who is working with the University of Minnesota to find a CURE for Diabetes. Representatives from diabetes equipment manufactures will be there to answer any questions you may have. Snack bars\, Fruit\, Coffee and Water will be provided.
