DESCRIPTION:Jazz Bassist Michael Gold moved from New York to the Twin Cities in 1996. He has performed with such artists as: Larry Coryell\, Warne Marsh\, Lee Konitz\, Sheila Jordan\, Tal Farlow\, Michael Kanan\, Bill McHenry\, Dave Karr\,\n\nCatherine Russel\, Dave Graf\, Patty Peterson\, and many others. He holds PhD in Jazz Performance from New York University and studied extensively with the pianist Sal Mosca.\n\nGuitarist Bill Bergman has been a part of the twin cities musical scene for 30 years. Some of the Artists he's performed with include: Fred Wesley\, Billy Mclaughlin\, Shangoya\, Socaholix Inoccent\,\n\nYawo\, Shalita\, Jennifer Grimm\, the Scenic Roots\, and The Neighborhood Trio. He has also worked at The Guthrie Theatre\, Theatre Latte Da\, Childrens Theatre\, Chanhassen Dinner Theatre\,\n\nMixed Blood Theatre and Town Square Theatre.\n\nNathan Norman is one of the Twin Cities best drummers. He's performed with just about everyone of note including the late\, great vocalist Debbie Duncan\, Connie Evingson\, Joyce Lyons\, Thomasina Petrus\, Charmin Michelle\, Dennis Spears and JoAnn Funk. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music.\n\nBrad Holden is a long time Twin Cities saxophonist with a unique voice. He is deeply influenced by the improvisation of Lee Konitz and Warne Marsh. Brad is the choice when an authentic and original approach to\n\nimprovisation is called for. "I relish all of my playing experiences\, particularly those with whom I've developed a long-term\, close friendship and musical affinity." This pretty succinctly sums up what's happening in this quartet.
