SUMMARY:"2025 Senior Expo" CAST Educational Trip
DESCRIPTION:Your CAST Board of Directors will be attending this event\, and we'd love to have you join us! We want to see what offerings and events they have so we can bring ideas back to New Ulm. Trip Details: We will meet in the CAST Senior Center parking lot at 12pm and carpool to the St. Peter Community Center. This event is free and open to the public\, but pre-registration is required so we know how many will be attending. Register by calling 507-354-3212 (leave a message with your name\, phone number\, and if you'll need to carpool). This year features music by the Singing Cowgirl\, free portraits by Inspired Portrait Photography and a visit from the Minnesota Zoo. Also available is a retired American flag collection by the St. Peter American Legion Post 37\, non perishable collection and donations for the St. Peter Area Food Shelf\, a large display by the Ewenique Quilt Guild\, eyeglass and hearing aid collection by St Peter Lions Club and a collection site for unused or expired prescription drugs by Nicollet County's Sheriff Lange. Plus food\, prizes and free goodie bags! Hosted by the CAST Senior Center\, CAST Educational Programs were developed to reach a wide audience of senior citizens\, providing a variety of interesting subjects via in-person presentations and experiences. Scheduled year-round\, we host programs at the CAST Senior Center\, but also travel to area libraries\, museums\, places of interest\, and other Senior/Community Centers in our area to introduce Seniors to the many program opportunities that are available. Our programs are open to the public and there are no membership dues. Unless noted\, the programs are provided free and no preregistration is required. Carpooling is available for out-of-town trips. Check out our program schedule every month and join us for our next event. We look forward to seeing you!
